This character is amazing. EEP. I'm such a sucker for blue roans.
This is the gorgeous Unicorn stallion AitoSensou, and he's my very first pixel animation to move his head!!! I'm proud of this animation. Rly. Took me close to three hours with all of those layers. So while working on this I watched BBC America's Robin Hood and The Other Boleyn Girl.
As an example of what goes into these thing, here's a list of the parts:
1 body lineart layer 1 body color layer 4 head linearts, w/ 4 head color layers 4 leg linearts, w/ 4 leg color layers 3 ear sets 8 tail frames not to mention shading all of the layers to run smoothly together This particular animation was about 40 frames.
BUT I'M SO HAPPY WITH THE RESULT. *flails*
This was in exchange for a print of the beautiful painting Allison did of Ama for my birthday: GO COMMENT.
So Allison I hope you like it! And I hope I got his markings alright. I didn't have access to the internet when I drew this, so if his socks are wrong, let me know and I'll fix them. And in the ref pics, Sensou looked a bit bluer in one, and blacker in another, so I tried to get a color somewhere in the middle. If anything needs to be changed, let me know!
Also if you don't watch Allison's art, seriously go and do so, you won't be disappointed! Her art is genius! You inspire me lots!
Thank you so much for the print! My walls are getting so crowded with pretty arts. Thanks for looking!
Sorry I'm so late! I just didn't have the time to do a proper comment Right so->
OMGAwd that is amazing! The head movement is to die for . Your animation skills have grown in leaps and bounds. This one must have been really complicated O.o I love the head bow and leg flex, it really makes him look like a mustang! I'm honored that you did your first head movement on my Aito!
The colors and markings are spot on. The pose is so proud and strong, it fits him perfectly. And the muscles, oh the muscles!
I just can't stop watching it! Thank you thank you!

But I'm so glad you like him! Aito is such a gorgeous boy and was really a blast to animate.
You're very very welcome, and thank you too!
